Is there a minimum rental duration?

The minimal rental duration is 24 hours.

Should I pay a deposit upon delivery of the car rental?

A deposit is not required as long as you are renting a car. A valid credit card should be submitted upon delivery of the car rental and a copy of the card will be taken as a deposit. In case of not owning a credit card, a debit card with a 16-digit number is also accepted.

What documents are required to rent a car?

All drivers must produce a valid, original driver’s license in order to rent a car (this applies to the additional driver as well). Concerning foreign driver’s licenses, they must be written in English or Latin alphabet so that we can understand the content. The driver’s license must be valid and it is essential that we determine the date of issue, the date of expiry, your name and surname and the number of the driver’s license.

How old do I have to be to rent a car?

Renters must be 20-75 years old. In our Terms and conditions, you can find out more details about this matter.

How can I pay for my rental?

By Credit card is the best option to pay for your rental vehicle when you book online. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Union Pay, Discovery, Maestro and JCB are also accepted.

What is included in the rental price?

Included in the car rental price:

  • 24% VAT tax
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Do you accept all foreign driver’s licenses?

Autorent accepts all foreign driver’s licenses, but they must be valid and written in English or Latin alphabet so that we can understand the content. International Driving licenses are required when a foreign driving license is not in English or Latin alphabet.

Do you offer zero-liability insurances?

All our customers can reduce their liability to zero by opting for our Super collision damage waiver (SCDW). This includes CDW, TP ,PI,Third part protection and is subjected to the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement. Any damages are not covered by insurance packages as stated in Article 14A and 14B in the Rental Agreement and terms and conditions. Keep in mind that this is an extra insurance option which allows our renters to have a carefree experience with Auto Rent car Rental while enjoying our beautiful island.

How can I make sure of the availability of the car rental that I have chosen?

If the vehicle that you have chosen upon reservation is not available, it will be substituted with an alternative, similar or upgraded vehicle. In some cases, the model of the car or the manufacturer of the car may change.

Can I make any modifications after completing the reservation?

Any extensions of the car rental depend on availability. Any extra charges apply according to the extension.

If you decide to return your car rental earlier than agreed you are welcome, but note that there is no refund for non used or partially used car rental coupons, unless modifications and cancellations have been completed before the pick-up of the car.

Do you offer assistance in case of emergency and breakdown and how do I contact you?

Yes, you will be provided with assistance 24/7 in case of emergency and breakdown, by calling our emergency number (+30) 698 031 7050. We are on hand to provide you with assistance 24/7.

In case of breakdown or accident, we will replace the car as soon as possible.

Please note that in case of damage or breakdown, the renter is responsible to pay an extra service fee to Αutorent Corfu.  This charge does not apply if the damage or breakdown was caused by Αutorent Corfu.

I booked a Corfu International Airport pick-up, how do I collect my car?

After leaving the arrival lobby you will see a bus operating Car Rental Shuttle Services with a placard with our company’s logo. On this bus you will get to our central offices, situated within short walking distance from the airport (about 5 minutes). This would be also a lovely route for those who like walking.

Where and how will I return the car?

You are requested to return your car rental at our office close to the International Airport of Corfu. There is a free shuttle service from/to the airport of Corfu for our customers.

How can I return a rental car after hours?

You are allowed to return a car rental after hours, placing your keys in a key safe, located just outside our office.
